Classic Sugar Cookie recipe

Ingredients:

• ^{one cup} butter softened
• ^{one teaspoon} vanilla
• ^{one cup} raw or organic cane sugar
• ^one egg
• ^{one and one qtr teaspoons} baking powder
• ^{three cups} flour

Directions:

1. cream butter, sugar, vanilla and toss in egg
2. combine baking powder and flour then mix into the cream mixture
3. split into 6 equal sections
4. freeze for 20m
5. roll out to cookie size
6. cut and bake at 350 degrees until just right about 8 minutes
